The very first Peony Jade Restaurant is situated in Clarke Quay, and welcomed our first visitor in September 2004. We specialised in traditional Szechuan and Cantonese cuisines – an uncommon sight at a nightspot lined with dance clubs and western diners. With continued support from our esteemed guests, we expanded to a second location in Keppel Club, focusing on classic Cantonese cuisine. With the inaugural edition of Singapore’s very own Michelin Guide, our efforts throughout the years have reaped rewards, with Peony Jade @ Keppel Club garnering the coveted Bib Gourmand award, the only Cantonese restaurant in the category.
Our focus has always been on quality. While most Chinese restaurants seek to cover every type of cuisine and delicacy, we choose instead just to do a few things right. The freshest ingredients; masterful culinary techniques by people truly passionate about gastronomical service; tireless innovation to suit the taste buds of the local people; a beautiful interior design worthy of the grandest weddings – These are the key ingredients behind the crux of our success, and we have every intention to continue doing what we do best.
Buoyed by our 2nd consecutive Michelin Bib Gourmand award in 2017, we have decided to branch out into catering, serving our brand of Cantonese cuisine right to your doorstep. Our chefs have worked tirelessly to make this possible, and one bite of our food will tell our story, told as only food can.
